Jules Litman-Cleper is a New Media Artist born and raised in the Bay Area, whose work centers on unpacking our sensory relationships to Spatial Simulation, Natural Computation(Generative Algorithms) and Ecological Systems with a deep interest in understanding the evolution of Cognition as a function of Ecological Interactions. Through New Media installations and spatial Visualization (3D stuff) Jules seeks to bridge the disparity between ecological well being and technological systems, global information and local action. They have studied Spatial Cognition and built a graphical-clay-interface in order to understand how humans learn to use new tools. They also teach classes and have exhibited work at Krowswork, Aggregate Space, New York Studio School, with performances at The Lab, ATA, SFEMF, CCRMA and more. They are currently working on 4D Composting, alternative taxonomy, "Rewilding Learning" and a website dedicated to mapping abiotic and gut biome place-relations.
